This Spring’s “Back The Byway” event is presented by The Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway stewardship fund and The Kentucky Toyota Land Cruiser Association. This event will be a multi-day affair! This year, we will be starting groups for the “Overland Experience” on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, camping along the new route called “The Kentucky River Route.” You will have the option to join one of these groups or join us Friday (self guided rides only) and Saturday at Callie’s Campground for guided rides, food, good times, and a raffle. If you are doing the overland experience, Friday and Saturday are included. Camping at Callie’s Lake and Campground is not included and needs to be arranged separately. Registered drivers for the event: Please make sure your vehicle is equipped with a GMRS radio, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and a full tank of fuel prior to the organized ride.
